How long should my hair be for waxing?

At least 1/4" but no longer than 1/2". If your hair requires trimming there will be a $10 charge. Waxing treatments can be repeated as soon as 4 weeks for some areas such as the bikini and up to 6 weeks for other areas.

Why is waxing better than shaving?

Will I experience irritation from waxing?

Yes, due to the nature of waxing some irritation is normal. Clients will experience a slight redness & tingling sensation similar to a sunburn for a few hrs after waxing. Clients with course hair can experience inflammation in the form of raised bumps around the hair follicle & redness for up to 48hrs. Areas of the body with course hair will have a longer recovery period than those with fine hair.

Will I get ingrown hairs from waxing?

Clients who are prone to ingrown hairs will experience them no matter the hair removal method. However, many people get LESS ingrown hairs from waxing than shaving. To help with ingrown hairs use a scrub up to 3x a week in the area that is prone to ingrown hairs.
